My baby will be 15 months old tomorrow. That is crazy. He's is rapidly becoming less and less of a baby and more of a toddler (who still doesn't actually toddle, but whatever). I take pictures of him pretty much everyday, but most of those are just with the camera I have on hand (which is attached to my phone... After all, "the best camera is the one that's with you", amiright?). However, I make a point of having at least one little photo session with him per month- preferably on the day he turns a new month. Technically this doesn't happen until tomorrow, but my husband had the day off today and he doesn't tomorrow. That made today the winner, as it has become very difficult to do these photo sessions solo since J just wants me to pick him up THE ENTIRE TIME. There are really only so many shots (see: 1) of J at my legs making the pick-me-up motion that anyone would want to see.
This morning we went to the play ground at Washington Park. Portland has been having such gorgeous weather with magical September light pretty much all month... well, except today. It was (is) gray, overcast, and a bit misty- a preview of what is yet to come in these next few months. Don't get me wrong. I am totally and completely okay with weather like this, if I wasn't I would be making a huge mistake living in the Pacific North West. It is just a bit sad to admit to myself that summer really and truly is coming to an end. However, Autumn is my favorite season, so it really isn't that sad ;)
Anyway, Judah played. Bill baby wrangled. I took pictures. That is, until, Judah was suddenly and completely over it and just wanted me to carry him. Lucky for him, I love him more than anything in the world. So, I picked him up and we called it a day.
