Elena at one year. At home. At the park. Hillsboro Family Photographer.
Elena is one. I love photographing families for multiple years and watching how they grow and change. Elena did a lot of growing this last year (the first year is just so amazing, right?!). Check out her newborn photography session to see just how much this little peanut has changed. Another big change in her little life was moving to a new house... which happened just a month before our session! Having moved houses makes her in home newborn photos just that much more precious, as it is a visual record of her first home, first nursery, first days of life.
We started out at home for her one year session too. I love being there to document the story of the day. It tells so much more than if we had just met up at the park and done the session there. Instead, we started the session at home and I got to document Elena playing in her new house, seeking out where her cats were hiding, and her getting ready routine... which ended with her taking her very FIRST STEPS! How awesome is that?
After everyone was ready, we headed to their neighborhood park, Noble Woods Park. It is a beautiful green wooded park, but the best part about it is that Elena will grow up spending time here. It is not just some random pretty location, instead, it is a part of her life, a part of her story. Locations that mean something to the family and are part of their everyday lives are where it is at.
Thanks for having me along to tell the story of your day Emily, Eric, & Elena!
