Courage for Chloe {in-hospital family photos}

I'd like to introduce you to this sweet little two and half year old, Chloe. This precious little girl was diagnosed with leukemia a year ago this month. Most of that time since then has been spent in the hospital in Denver. I was able to spend the afternoon with Chloe and her parents and do in-hospital family photos on the last full day of her stay on September 11, 2014. The next morning, Chloe's parents drove her five hours to go home to Kansas. Three siblings were waiting at home for their sister to come and play (big sister, Michaela, and her triplet siblings, Olivia and Trey). I wish that Chloe's return home was under better circumstances, but sadly she is going home as there is nothing more that can be done by the doctors in a hospital setting. She is continuing her care at home, while she spends time with her siblings and is loved on by everyone.

If you would like to learn more about Chloe and support her as she continues her battle against childhood leukemia visit her facebook group page Courage for Chloe. Please, also check out the gofundme site for Chloe. Anything you can give would mean so much to her family. If you can, donate now to help out Chloe and her family as they go through this incredibly difficult period.

I am so honored that I was able to spend the afternoon with Chloe and document her laughing and playing with her parents, Frank & Renee, her grandma, Lois (who is my mother-in-law's sister), and her cousin, Brandan. My husband and I arrived just as Chloe was waking up from her nap and was ready to play. We were so lucky to be able to meet up, as we had just flown in to Denver that morning and had to leave the next day. This was the first time I got to meet Chloe. The last time I saw her mom was when she had just found out that she was pregnant with triplets.

Chloe is such a darling girl. My heart goes out to her and her entire family.

You all are in my thoughts and my heart every day!

It is with a heavy heart that I update this post. Sweet little Chloe lost her fight against leukemia on September 26, 2014. Although she is gone from this world all too soon, Chloe's beautiful smile and sweet nature will live on in the hearts of all those she came in contact with. Please, hold her family in your heart and remember Chloe's shining eyes and beautiful face always.
